We are never alone!

One of the greastest truths of being a Christian is that we are never alone!  We can realize this truth in many different scripture passages from the Bible.  let's check some of these out.

One of my favorties is Hebrews 13:5 - part of that verse says ". . . I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."  Isn't that a glorious comfort on those days we find ourselves "alone!"  Years ago I worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship.  They taught me a little technique of holding my hand up and telling children this verse beginning at my "pinky" finger.  Continuing with each finger, say I will never leave thee.  I then point to myself and say this is what Jesus says to us and then ask, where the "never " finger is.  It's the longest finger and then I say, "never" is a long, long time.  This is a special truth for me!

In the Old Testament the Lord said, "Fear thou not, for I am with thee:  be not dismayed, for I am thy God.  I will strengthen thee, yea, i will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."  Isaiah 41:10

This concept of realizing we are never alone is a truth we can find in both the old and New Testament!  My friend, we need to take this to heart and walk by faith thanking God for His presence in our lives on a daily basis!

Perhaps, I am simple, but I do believe that if we could get individual Christians in our churches to acknowledge the presence of God daily in their lives we could have revival in our hearts which could then spread throughout our churches, nation, and the world.

I encourage and challenge you to acknowledge God's presence in your life every day and you will find yourself singing the little chorus,

"Every day with Jesus is sweeter then the day before,

Every day with Jesus, I love Him more and more,

Jesus saves and keeps me, And He's the one I'm waiting for,

Every day with jesus, is sweeter then the day before."

Once again let me encourage and challenge you to daily acknowledge His presence in your life
